Waterborne Acrylic Emulsion Houxian® 5934K

Product Features：

Houxian® 5934K is a specially modified waterborne acrylic emulsion. This resin can achieve extremely high thixotropy by directly adding amine neutralizers without the need for thickeners, and it exhibits an excellent orientation effect on aluminum flakes.

It is recommended for waterborne baking paint systems that require orientation of aluminum flakes and pearlescent pigments, such as those used in tricycles, copper doors, wheel hubs, automotive paints, and 3C products.This product has the following features:

• Enhanced thixotropy
• Excellent aluminum flake orientation and high aluminum flake brightness
• Good compatibility with hydroxyl acrylic dispersions; it increases the application solid content of aluminum flake paints, effectively conceals sanding marks without compromising aluminum flake orientation
• Excellent adhesion to various substrates and good intercoat adhesion

Storage：

This product should be stored in a dark, cool and dry place at a temperature ranging from 5℃ to 35℃ with the package kept intact. The shelf life of this product is 12 months from the date of production. For products beyond the shelf life, it is recommended to conduct a performance evaluation before use. This product must be strictly protected from frost and direct sunlight. After opening the package, appropriate filtration is recommended prior to use and the product should be used up as soon as possible.

 

Precautions for Use：

Stir thoroughly before use and seal tightly after use. Do not mix with cationic substances and printing inks.

Due to its relatively fast drying speed, skinning may occur during transportation. If this happens, the product can be directly used after filtration with filter bags.
