Product Features

Houxian® 5720 is a low-hydroxyl, water-solvent universal waterborne hydroxyacrylic secondary dispersion. This resin can also be used as a one-component amino baking coating. It exhibits good gloss, excellent build, and good adhesion to special metal substrates. This product has the following features:

1. Higher gloss and fast hardness development
2. Excellent water resistance and chemical resistance
3. Good compatibility with solvent-based curing agents
4. Good resin wettability and high film build

Storage

This product should be stored in a dark, cool and dry place at a temperature of 5–35℃ with the packaging kept intact. The shelf life of this product is 6 months from the date of production. For products beyond the shelf life, performance evaluation is recommended prior to use. This product must be strictly protected from frost or direct sunlight. After opening the packaging, appropriate filtration is recommended before use, and the product should be used up as soon as possible.

Precautions for Use

1. The viscosity of this product is mainly affected by pH value. During storage, the pH value may decrease, and the product viscosity will decrease accordingly. Its viscosity can be adjusted back to the initial value by adding a small amount of 10% aqueous N,N-dimethylethanolamine solution.
2. Stir thoroughly before use and seal tightly after use.
