Product Features

Houxian® 220 is a low-odor waterborne curing agent suitable for waterborne wood primers and topcoats. It can be used in combination with hydroxyacrylic emulsions or hydroxyacrylic dispersions, featuring low viscosity, fast hardness development, and extreme low odor. It exhibits excellent hand-stirrability when mixed with water, good compatibility with various emulsions, and outstanding resistance. This product has the following characteristics:

Storage

This product should be stored in a dark, cool and dry place at a temperature of 5–35℃ with the packaging kept intact. The shelf life of this product is 6 months from the date of production. For products beyond the shelf life, performance evaluation is recommended prior to use. This product must be strictly protected from frost and direct sunlight. After opening the packaging, appropriate filtration is recommended before use, and the product should be used up as soon as possible.

Precautions for Use

1. Stir thoroughly before use and seal tightly after use.
2. This product is highly sensitive to moist air. It reacts with water to generate carbon dioxide gas and urea. Carbon dioxide gas can cause an increase in container pressure, leading to danger. Containers must be sealed for storage to prevent any form of moisture from entering the container.
3. This product is a pilot-scale product. Product information may be changed in the future, and the commercialization and continuous supply of this product cannot be guaranteed at present.
