Product Features

Houxian® 5117S is a secondary acrylic dispersion containing hydroxyl functional groups. It features fast drying speed, high hardness, high gloss and high cost performance. Combined with polyurethane curing agents, it can be used in construction machinery coatings, as well as primer or topcoat for plastic coatings. This product has the following features:

1. Good pigment wettability and shear stability
2. Fast drying and high hardness
3. Good adhesion to plastic substrates and UV topcoats
4. Good alcohol resistance and excellent dry heat resistance

Plastic drum: 125 KG/drum; 1000 KG/drum

Storage

This product should be stored in a dark, cool and dry place at a temperature of 5–35℃ with the packaging kept intact. The shelf life of this product is 6 months from the date of production. For products beyond the shelf life, performance evaluation is recommended prior to use. This product must be strictly protected from frost or direct sunlight. After opening the packaging, appropriate filtration is recommended before use, and the product should be used up as soon as possible.

Precautions for Use

1. The viscosity of this product is mainly affected by pH value. During storage, the pH value may decrease, and the product viscosity will decrease accordingly. Its viscosity can be adjusted back to the initial value by adding a small amount of 10% aqueous N,N-dimethylethanolamine solution.
2. Stir thoroughly before use and seal tightly after use.
