Product Features

Houxian® 3015 is a low minimum film formation temperature (MFFT) acrylic emulsion specially developed for low-VOC waterborne wood coating applications. Adopting a unique and sophisticated core-shell process, this product ensures low-temperature film formation while still being endowed with outstanding hardness, toughness, sandability and blocking resistance. It is particularly suitable for formulating low-VOC clear coats, white primers, edge-sealing coats, etc. This product has the following features:

1. Excellent hardness and sanding performance
2. Outstanding blocking resistance and scratch resistance
3. Good transparency of both wet and dry films
4. Low emulsion odor and excellent film-forming property

Storage

This product should be stored in a dark, cool and dry place at a temperature of 5–35℃ with the packaging kept intact. The shelf life of this product is 12 months from the date of production. For products beyond the shelf life, performance evaluation is recommended prior to use. This product must be strictly protected from frost and direct sunlight. After opening the packaging, appropriate filtration is recommended before use, and the product should be used up as soon as possible.

Precautions for Use

1. Stir thoroughly before use and seal tightly after use. Do not mix with cationic substances or inks.
2. Due to its fast drying speed, skinning may occur during transportation. If this happens, the product can be used directly after filtration with a filter bag.
