Product Characteristics

Houxian® EP378 is an epoxy resin with self-emulsifying properties. It exhibits excellent water miscibility and can disperse quickly and uniformly. Suitable for use with waterborne epoxy curing agents, it is mainly applied in the production of two-component waterborne epoxy zinc-rich coatings, waterborne aluminum powder coatings and other products. It features low odor and convenient application. This product has the following characteristics:

1. Excellent chemical resistance (resistance to boiling water, strong acids and strong alkalis)
2. Impact resistance
3. Good adhesion to various substrates

Storage

This product should be stored in a dark, cool and dry place at a temperature of 5–35℃ with the packaging kept intact. The shelf life of this product is 6 months from the date of production. For products beyond the shelf life, performance evaluation is recommended prior to use. This product must be strictly protected from frost or direct sunlight. After opening the packaging, appropriate filtration is recommended before use, and the product should be used up as soon as possible.

Precautions for Use

1. Stir thoroughly before use and seal tightly after use. Do not mix with cationic substances or inks.
2. Due to its fast drying speed, prolonged exposure to air during use is not recommended.
