Product Features

Houxian® 2004T is a low-hydroxyl emulsion specially designed for two-component waterborne wood coatings. It is suitable for use as a two-component system when formulated with waterborne isocyanate curing agents. Free of any solvents, this product has an extremely low in-can odor. Endowed with a certain hydroxyl value, it also adopts self-crosslinking technology, belonging to a dual crosslinking system. The resulting paint film features good transparency and excellent film build, with fast early hardness development. It is suitable for fast sanding production lines and particularly ideal for the preparation of two-component clear primers. This product has the following features:

1. Good transparency and excellent film build of dry film
2. The overnight hardness of the paint film can reach nearly F, and the final hardness can reach H
3. Free of any solvents and no pungent odor

Storage

This product should be stored in a dark, cool and dry place at a temperature of 5–35℃ with the packaging kept intact. The shelf life of this product is 12 months from the date of production. For products beyond the shelf life, performance evaluation is recommended prior to use. This product must be strictly protected from frost and direct sunlight. After opening the packaging, appropriate filtration is recommended before use, and the product should be used up as soon as possible.

Precautions for Use

1. Stir thoroughly before use and seal tightly after use. Do not mix with cationic substances or inks.
2. Due to the fast drying speed, skinning may occur during transportation. If this happens, it can be used directly after filtering with a filter bag.
