Product Features

Houxian® 4721 is a secondary acrylic dispersion containing hydroxyl functional groups. It features fast drying speed, high hardness, high gloss and good compatibility. It is recommended for applications such as two-component waterborne wood coatings, industrial coatings and floor coatings. This product has the following features:

1. High hardness with fast development speed
2. High gloss and high film build
3. Good compatibility with solvent-based curing agents
4. Transparent and clear paint film formed

Storage

This product should be stored in a dark, cool and dry place at a temperature of 5–35℃ with the packaging kept intact. The shelf life of this product is 6 months from the date of production. For products beyond the shelf life, performance evaluation is recommended prior to use. This product must be strictly protected from frost and direct sunlight. After opening the packaging, appropriate filtration is recommended before use, and the product should be used up as soon as possible.

Precautions for Use

1. The viscosity of this product is mainly affected by the pH value. The pH value may decrease during storage, and the product viscosity will decrease accordingly. Its viscosity can be adjusted back to the initial value by adding a small amount of 10% aqueous N,N-dimethylethanolamine solution.
2. Stir thoroughly before use and seal tightly after use. Do not mix with cationic substances or inks.
3. This product is a pilot-scale product. Product information may be changed in the future, and the commercialization and continuous supply of this product cannot be guaranteed at present.
