Product Features

Houxian® 8020 is a brand-new high-transparency self-crosslinking acrylic dispersion prepared by the latest synthesis technology. It is specially developed to meet the high-end market demands for primer that resists blocking even after extreme heavy sanding with abrasive belts, and topcoat with high hardness and scratch resistance. This product contains no surfactants, has a fine particle size, and exhibits extremely high transparency both in the can and as a dry film. The film surface is smooth and delicate with excellent water resistance, making it particularly suitable for formulating warm wood clear coats on colored substrates. This product has the following features:

1. Superior early scratch and blocking resistance, with high hardness
2. Excellent warm wood effect, delicate texture and good pore penetration
3. Extremely transparent wet and dry films, with outstanding water resistance
4. Excellent sandability

Storage

This product should be stored in a dark, cool and dry place at a temperature of 5–35℃ with the packaging kept intact. The shelf life of this product is 12 months from the date of production. For products beyond the shelf life, performance evaluation is recommended prior to use. This product must be strictly protected from frost and direct sunlight. After opening the packaging, appropriate filtration is recommended before use, and the product should be used up as soon as possible.

Precautions for Use

1. Stir thoroughly before use and seal tightly after use. Do not mix with cationic substances or inks.
2. This product has a fast drying speed and is not recommended to be exposed to air for a long time before use.
3. During storage, the appearance color of the product will slightly deepen (turn slightly yellow) over time, which does not affect the product performance and the product can be used normally.
