Product Features
Houxian® 4004 is a waterborne hydroxyacrylic dispersion, suitable for use as a two-component system when formulated with waterborne isocyanate curing agents. It is a high-solid-content dispersion in a water/dipropylene glycol methyl ether solution, neutralized with dimethylethanolamine. Recommended applications include two-component waterborne wood coatings, industrial coatings, and floor coatings. This product has the following features:

Storage
This product should be stored in a dark, cool and dry place at a temperature of 5–35℃ with the packaging kept intact. The shelf life of this product is 12 months from the date of production. For products beyond the shelf life, performance evaluation is recommended prior to use. This product must be strictly protected from frost and direct sunlight. After opening the packaging, appropriate filtration is recommended before use, and the product should be used up as soon as possible.
Precautions for Use
- Stir thoroughly before use and seal tightly after use. Do not mix with cationic substances or inks.
- The viscosity of this product is mainly affected by the pH value. The pH value may decrease during storage, and the product viscosity will decrease accordingly. Its viscosity can be adjusted back to the initial value by adding a small amount of 10% aqueous N,N-dimethylethanolamine solution.
