Hydroxypropyl Dispersion Houxian® 5022

Product Characteristics

Houxian® 5022 is an anionic waterborne hydroxyacrylic dispersion. This product is free of APEO and can be combined with solvent-based polyurethane curing agents for use in construction machinery coatings, as well as primer or topcoat for hardware coatings. It has the following characteristics:

1. High gloss and high build
2. Excellent compatibility with solvent-based curing agents
3. Excellent water resistance and chemical resistance
4. Suitable for use in two-component waterborne polyurethane coatings

Plastic drum: 125 KG/drum; 1000 KG/drum

Storage

This product should be stored in a dark, cool and dry place at a temperature of 5–35℃ with the packaging kept intact. The shelf life of this product is 6 months from the date of production. For products beyond the shelf life, performance evaluation is recommended prior to use. This product must be strictly protected from frost or direct sunlight. After opening the packaging, appropriate filtration is recommended before use, and the product should be used up as soon as possible.

Precautions for Use

1. The viscosity of this product is mainly affected by pH value. During storage, the pH value may decrease, and the product viscosity will decrease accordingly. Its viscosity can be adjusted back to the initial value by adding a small amount of 10% aqueous N,N-dimethylethanolamine solution.
2. Stir thoroughly before use and seal tightly after use. Do not mix with cationic substances or inks.
3. This product has a fast drying speed and is not recommended to be exposed to air for a long time before use.
