Huaguoshan Makes a Stunning Appearance at the Wood Coatings and Painting Technology Forum with Two Major Environmentally Friendly Innovations!

From September 16th to 18th, the “2025 Environmentally Friendly Wood Coatings and Painting Technology Forum and Annual Meeting of the Wood Coatings and Painting Branch of the China Coatings Industry Association,” themed “Technology Leading the Way to Innovation,” was held in Shunde, Guangdong.

The conference brought together numerous industry association leaders, experts, scholars, and representatives from upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry chain. Liu Jie, Secretary General of the China Coatings Industry Association, Tu Qi, Secretary General of the World Furniture Federation, and Chen Bing, Chairman of the Wood Coatings and Painting Branch of the China Coatings Industry Association, all delivered important speeches.

Chairman Chen Bing pointed out that my country’s wood coatings and painting industry is accelerating its transformation towards an environmentally friendly, low-carbon, and sustainable development model. In the future, it will continue to adhere to innovation-driven development, deepen green transformation, strengthen industry chain collaboration, and expand international cooperation to jointly promote the high-quality development of the industry.

As a co-organizer of this conference, Huaguoshan Wood Products Division’s Director, R&D Manager, and Application Manager, along with their team, attended the event to explore the future development direction of water-based wood coatings with industry professionals.

At the conference, Dr. Liu Yijiang, our R&D Manager, delivered a technical presentation on “A New Environmental Revolution in Wood Coating: High-Solids, Low-Viscosity Solutions + Ultimate Odorless Emulsions.” He highlighted our hyperbranched polyurethane-modified silicone resin series, which boasts excellent sealing properties, high filling capacity, and low VOC characteristics. We also recommended our “odorless upon opening” hydroxypropyl emulsion, Houxian® 3200. These environmental breakthroughs and innovations garnered significant attention from attendees.

At our booth, Huaguoshan’s W1002, W002A, and W2003 series products, with their innovative application solutions, unique processes, and outstanding samples, attracted numerous visitors for observation and discussion.

With its stunning panel finish, differentiated product performance, and leading environmentally friendly coating solutions, Huaguoshan won high praise from the expert judging panel and was awarded the title of “Outstanding Exhibitor” at the conference.

We thank the association for organizing this forum, which fully played its bridging role and deeply promoted the tripartite connection and collaborative innovation between coating raw materials, finished coating products, and the Chinese wood products industry.
